SIMRAN KALITA

About

Simran Kalita is a young actress, singer, published author, poet, and aspiring filmmaker. From an early age, she immersed herself in creative expression, writing scripts, lyrics, and poems while training in dance styles like belly dance, ballet, and salsa. She graduated with a major in Computer Science from Northeastern University and has trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She recently published her first book, containing a poetry collection she began writing at 16, and has been releasing music since 2022, her most recent project being an E.P. titled "The One." Simran is currently filming for an independent feature film, which she stars in as a lead role. 

She intends to be the most inexplicable thing in every room she enters. She walks runways at fashion shows, experiments with sound across musical genres, and brings depth and presence to every performance. Whether on stage, in front of a camera, or behind the scenes creating, she brings a sharp, intuitive energy that’s both grounded and electric.

Her work is driven by curiosity, discipline, and a clear vision to keep evolving, keep challenging limits, and keep showing up as someone impossible to ignore.
